Some people have commented on the missing headcodes on 375 and 376 external destination screens: It would seem that during the last software update for the December 08 timetable change, the updated database files that are 'sent' to each train became corrupted and contained invaild or mistaken information. All headcodes were missing for each route and some stopping patterns do not exist. There even some units running around with impossible stopping patterns and destination combinations - several 375s are running around at the weekend from Victoria to Ashford, that then call at "Wye, Chilham, Chartham and Canterbury EAST" Company expects theses issues to be corrected shortly.

One great advantage of this "corruption" is that it has also affected "Doris". I note that on my regular journey silence now reigns...bliss and long may it continue. HOGW

Would it not be useful if we numbered our trains like they do in Europe. I just wondered, sometimes on the Radio you here the the 06h09 from Margate is shortformed. I then scratch my head a bit to work out what time that train reaches Ashford, where I might know it as the 07h02. If it was called the '88888' for example, I might be better placed to tell if that information was material to me - just a thought.
