We write a lot about GoVex and its inability to plan and operate a cost effective railway but, just for once, I thought that we should extend the hand of friendship to them.
Here is a suggested modification on a well known carol (last verse only of course): -
On the twelfth day of Christmas Southeastern gave to me
12 car mainline trains
11 standby drivers
10 canopy painters
9 minutes saving (from padding)
8 less announcements
7 platforms working (at Cannon Street)
6 working toilets
…five delay free days…
4 less station stops
3 trains per hour
2 digit headcodes (not 00)
…and a year with no RPI+3
My best wishes to all people working for GoVex and to those living people who travel daily - and especially those who write or view this message board. May you all have a very Happy Christmas and a Prosperous and Healthy 2009.
