I'll have a Jameson's - preferably the 18y/o with a nice dash of Irish springwater.
Seasons Greetings and all the Best to everyone for 2009.

Until the recent timetable change it used to arrive at Bromley at 0856 and then wait until leaving at 0903 proceeding via Catford to Victoria getting in around 0925. Under the new timetable it is allowed to leave Bromley at 0856 but is not scheduled to arrive at Victoria (via Catford) until 0927 - which must be one of the longer scheduled Bromley to Victoria fast services. However it usually makes pretty good progress and arrives around 0920. Must have been quicker today (or even allowed to travel by the 'hallowed' Kent House route...). I was on a later train this morning so cannot comment further

I checked my watch as we came over the bridge into Victoria and it was 9.15 but it can take a while to actually "dock" in a platform so 9.20 might be a bit closer by the time the doors were open
