Does anybody know if South East season tickets get you as far as St Pancras? If not, how far (e.g City Thameslink?)
Thanks

Barry,
I believe a non travel card season ticket will get you to London termini, which via a change at london bridge will take you to St Pancras Thameslink station.
You would need to check at your local ticket office to confirm this though.

Barry
It is also worth checking the National Rail Enquiries website and put in an imaginary journey then look at the fare (and you can do the same for season tickets).
I have tried a couple of off-peak single journey enquiries and it shows the same fare to Blackfriars and Farringdon but adds £3.00 for the "extra mile" to St Pancras.
This is interesting on two counts: -
If you have to change trains at London Bridge or Blackfriars then it is worth only buying a ticket there and then touch in on an Oyster Card which will give you the rest of your journey at a saving of £1.50 for the off peak single.
In 2009 it may be worthwhile catching a Cannon Street train from Medway stations and then change at London Bridge to get to St Pancras a bit slower but much cheaper using the Oyster. If your destination is actually Farringdon then it will not necessarily take longer but will only cost a London Termini season.

Unless things have changed in the last couple of years, I don't believe that a 'London Terminals' ticket will permit travel to Farringdon. I tried to pass the barrier at Farringdon to get a train to London Bridge using an annual London Terminals ticket and it was not accepted - I was told it was only valid from Blackfriars (although as it was late at night I was allowed through anyway). The alternative was to enter using an Oyster card and then 'terminate' the Oyster journey at London Bridge.

You are correct about the actual ticket - but it is the same fare though. You can check details by going to Wikipedia and entering "London Terminals".
It raises the issue that if you buy a ticket to Farringdon will the gates work at London Bridge, Cannon Street and Charing Cross which are the same price? Does anyone know the answer as being deceased I have no ability to do so.
