Hello, and thank-you for setting up this new message board. I didn't find the old BBC board very user-friendly and think this will be an improvement for sure. On other boards of similar type to which I subscribe there is a "view new posts" or "view posts since last visit" facility, which is a simple yet helpful feature. Is there something similar for this board that I have so far failed to notice, or can something similar be provided? Cheers for now, Jupiler. PS: My first post here, and I only made a couple of 'enquiry' posts on the old BBC board under the username "Duvel_1871", but I'll be sticking around. I don't currently commute by rail, but do use trains and buses around the county quite frequently. I also, for my sins evidently, work in the rail industry, though for a freight operator these days - I have had past train planning experience on the old South Eastern Division in the British Rail days though (ah, those were the days ).

Hi Jupiler
Sorry about the delay in responding - have to keep the heavens clean you know.
There is a facility for viewing recent posts - when you open the main page - go down to the Info centre and then Forum Statistics - and the third line gives a link to the last 10 messages posted.
Welcome - please feel free to enter comments, tell others they are wrong and so on.
Yours sincerely O.V.S.Bulleid

Hi, It now appears that Proboards (the host for this site) have recently included a blue "new" button just beside the thread name. Clicking on this does appear to take you to the latest post in each thread. Thanks for the suggestion. Richard
