In the early part of this year, during the rush hour period, twenty six trains an hour are to go through Blackfriairs station. I know a lot of money and thought has gone into this with new signalling and (posa) signals. I wish the railway companies and passengers well but can't help thinking that, with so many services, the slightest problem will cause a snowball effect having huge implications to the whole network.

I heard it was only 24tph, but to be perfectly honest i don't think it'll make the slightest jot of difference. So long as the customers continue to only use 2 of the available 16 doors single file because they are closest to the exit and they are too bl***y lazy to walk an extra few metres, FCC would struggle to run a modest (and frankly - realistic) 12tph! It has been interesting travelling through London Bridge in the last few weeks.Less commuters and almost everything is running on time.

My mistake Simon it is 24 trains an hour.
I have to agree with you about passengers all wanting to leave by the same set of doors,it causes untold delays. The same thing applies at stations in the morning rush hour, when some passengers refuse to walk to the rear of the train, and try and get on the front coaches because they want to be first off.
