I just noticed the historical daily performance seems to have had the links removed from SEt we site! www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/your-journey/daily-performanceI am sure it nothing to do with use using it to claim for delay repay on journeys? Or the figures were embarrassing for Southeastern I might just be a cynic.

Some one has posted a reply from SET
"We have removed the Daily Performance pages from our website, as this channel of information has now been replaced by our Twitter feed. Our Twitter feed is at Se_Railway.
We hope that with the ever expanding use of social networks, the Twitter feed will provide more information and be appreciated over the previous Daily Performance pages"
Looks like only people who want to sign up to twitter will receive all info, and how they expect get this info onto a limited text based system
They have a sort of ok web site that could be improved but they seem to be forcing users away from it, and people who don't want to or can't access twiter or other social sites looks like tough luck.

Official response to we comment sent:
Thank you for your website comment which we received on 22 September 2011.
I am sorry to inform you that we will no longer display the daily performance details of delayed and cancelled trains on our website and whilst you have raised valid points I hope the information detailed below provides clarity on the reasons for this removal. This page was removed from our website shortly after our own twitter feed went live, which is @se_Railway. It is fair to say that the information which we previously provided was open to abuse by those wishing to claim compensation for journeys they had not made or who were not delayed by over 30 minutes, and this is particularly true now that we operate a 'delay-repay' compensation scheme. However, on a positive note the live train running information and line status updates are still shown on our website, and the new twitter feed is now in action. Of course, if you are delayed by over 30 minutes you are welcome to claim via the delay-repay facility as mentioned above. I understand that you would prefer not to use the twitter feed and I am sorry that I am unable to offer an alternative however if you would like to send us details of any journeys that are delayed or cancelled then we are more than happy to look into the reasons behind these disruptions and forward any concerns that you might have to the relevant managers. Thank you for taking the time to contact Southeastern. Yours sincerely Lisa Buchanan Customer Relations Officer Southeastern

thats really pretty funny! re-written it says: "now you can claim compo for delayed journeys we have removed the data that enables you to claim!"
Was the contract written by Franz Kafka?
It would certainly make an interesting news story on meridian i reckon.....

Another way of viewing it is you will only know if you were delayed if you were actually there. Anyone could read through a list and claim to have been on a train that was delayed when they weren't.
