Is there a problem about maintenance in the St Mary Cray - Swanley area? For the third time in the last couple of weeks I've been affected by problems in this stretch.
First there were signalling problems in the Chatham direction at Swanley (result: detrained at Swanley on a Cannon Street to Ramsgate via Chatham, eventually got a train that ran fast from Swanley to Rochester via Chislehurst and Dartford)
A couple of days later the Cannon St to Ramsgate train was diverted via Dartford due to problems at St Mary Cray Junction.
This morning my Cannon Street train was diverted after Rochester to London Victoria due to (as reported by our driver) 'catastrophic failures in the signalling routing system at London Bridge.'
[And that's not to mention the chaos on the morning of the Rainham bomb scare, which is obviously another matter.]
Or have I just had bad luck...?

If the problem is lack of maintenance, rather than random faults which could not have been prevented by maintenance, then they're not confined to St Mary Cray Junction to Swanley. The faults at Swanley and St Mary Cray Junction were in quite separate locations, while this morning's problem was at London Bridge. Chapelwood
