Does anyone on this forum use Victoria Underground? How have you found it now that the Victoria line escalator works have started?
I must say, given all the dire warning to avoid Victoria I found it absolutely fine yesterday (I use the Victoria line). One escalator down (as usual) in the morning, but only one up (instead of the usual two). In the evening two escalators up and none down and a one way system to the all underground lines via, I guess, the District/Circle lines. I would imagine the Victoria line works are more likely to cause problems for those exiting the District/Circle lines in the evening than anything else. For Victoria line users coming out after 4pm the only inconvenience is a short detour just after the ticket gates.
