Dear All,
Just in case any Rainham commuters wander through the park and wonder why there is a temporary, metal, road surface, it is due to a large oak tree that has become unstable and they are worried that it will damage the railway bridge by Taswell Road.
Couldn't find anything on the web, nor the Medway Council site, so I called up. A very helpful lady called Margaret said she's find out for me and called back two hours later to give me the answer - she even apologised for taking so long (I was amazed how quick she was! ;D) Excellent service from the council.
I would have posted this in the non-railway section, but as it affects the bridge I thought I'd post it here!
Regards,
NoOnions
