Just read the South Eastern website for the upcoming changes from May 18th.
Regarding Sundays, it states : "To provide a near 15 minutes service pattern from London to Orpington, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge the 24 and 54 minutes past the hour departures from Charing Cross will leave at 30 and 00, with Hastings line departing at 14 and 44 an improved clock face of departures is offered".
So the intervals between trains will be 16 minutes, 14 minutes, 16 minutes and 14 minutes, as opposed to the existing departures at 10, 24, 40 and 54 where the intervals are 14 minutes, 16 minutes, 14 minutes and 16 minutes.
Am I missing something? Where is the "improvement"? I feel Alistair Campbell would be proud of this announcement.
