I'll be at a KCC meeting on 21st October. It'll be my last action respresenting the commuter interests of Kent. One of the issues I've asked to timetabled is about the services from Maidstone East into the London Bridge area.
I did request some feedback on what else people would like to have represented but, alas, I had no replies.
In brief, the 10 issues I've requested to be brought up are:
1. Increasing amount of signal failures and train failures.
2. Rising fares vs an idiotic season ticket holder compensation scheme.
3. Snow disruption in Jan and service termination at 19:00
4. Connection policies being ignored.
5. Rude, Untrained, unhelpful, generally ignorant staff/REO's.
6. Lack of information at stations and during problems.
7. Removal of services from Maidstone East and reduction in commuter options.
8. The Myth of high speed and issues of train reliability/track conditions on HS1.
9. Cleanliness of trains and toilets.
10. The lack of a regulatory body for the commuter.
